Turkish Towels

I've been reading about Turkish towels on the web recently (also know as Peshtemal). They are supposed to be thinner, lighter, and dry faster. They also come in great colours! I'm thinking about making the switch, although I love my white terry cloth towels, the idea about having something that takes less room in the washing machine, less room in my linen closet is appealing. Has anyone tried these? I found this great looking one on etsy, from Beauty and Spa out of Turkey.
