I mean that title in a totally NON-racist way. I'm just saying that since today is the longest day of the year, I'm feeling the heat for the bright, sunny shade YELLOW! Good thing I'll be heading off of a tropical vacation after Christmas! Below are some yellow delights which have set my heart aflutter!

Yellow Trench

Every year (season?) I pick a single item that I must have and that I'm willing to spend more than... oh, $20 on. A lot more. This year it may be a perfect trench. I tried on a nice one at Banana Republic, and I've been exploring other trench options here.

In the meantime perhaps this yellow number to add to my collection?

(And by collection I mean my one black trench).

Winter Dresses

I wear dresses all summer, but in winter I tend to turn to jeans and sweaters. I've been thinking about ways to incorporate dresses into my winter wear. Despite my love of bare legs I'm thinking the answer might be tights. Some examples of cheerful dresses for the cooler seasons.

They Call Me Mellow Yellow

I think I'm automatically attracted to a clean white bedroom, but in this case I love the use of the bright yellow. What a wonderful cheery way to wake up!

These are what I am wearing RIGHT NOW. I love these shoes, even if my dark jeans are starting to dye the yellow. They are classics, but the yellow give them a real POP.
