Cupcakes Are Cool

Aren't they just? I know that everyone in the food industry is saying that cupcakes are "over" and pie is the hip and happening dessert of the year, but I'm telling you all. Cupcakes are happiness and sunshine in a single serving, and I don't care if they are hip or not, they are just mighty delicious!

PS this print is available in Tee Shirt form for all those who wish to proclain their Cupcake Love.

Cupcakes and Bacon

Combing two of my love into bag form. How cute is this bacon and cupcake tote bag? Way more fun to carry your groceries home in this than the boring one I get from the grocery store!

Yay!

Gala update: I have a ticket. I am a date for a handsome man. I need an outfit and someone to do my freaking hair so I'm a good looking date.
That is all.
(I clearly celebrated this exciting news by buying a cupcake. And by cupcake I mean a low fat muffin covered in icing. And by that I clearly mean a cupcake. Oh Whole Foods. So delicious. So not actually healthy. I'm ok with that.)

Happy Halloween!

The best way to celebrate anything is cupcakes! Truth. There is a good chance that as we speak I'm running around my apartment trying to make last minute makeup decisions, and crafting the last minute touches to my costume... wish me luck and see you all on the dance floor!

Working 9 to 5

I started my current job one year ago today.
That is one year of being a grown up. (Sort of.)
One year out of being a student. (Which, after six years of university and grad school seems like quite a feat.)
One year of being less poor.
One year of travel.

This is a reason to celebrate, no?
I am celebrating by pretending to be a grown up. Lunch date with friends, after work I will go to the gym, hit up my favourite sushi joint with a lovely lady from undergrad, and then stop by the hardware store to pick up a bolt that my vespa is missing. How responsible!

(Please note after pretending to be a grown up I will probably go home, put on short shorts, play mowtown or bad pop music and have a kitchen dance party while I bake something delicious.)
