Filofax

Me and my filofax. I even bring it with me to weddings.

I have a wonderful robin's egg blue filofax that I bought last two years ago in Paris. (I know that you can buy them anywhere, but mine is more special to me because of where I bought it). I don't think I know anyone else my age who totes around a filofax instead of one of those handy dandy smart phones, but I love it, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. My friends joke about how I carry my "book" with me everywhere, but it keeps my lists and my life close at hand, and that can't be beat. 

I keep reading that the Filofax is making a comeback. I was just ahead of the trend.

Vanity

Decided to spend some time cleaning/reorganizing my dresser top and vanity this weekend. I really like the idea of having a bedroom vanity. A place to get ready. Even though I usually spend less than 5 minutes on makeup/sunscreen/hair in the morning, it's so much nicer to have all my stuff out and easy to access. Of course I had to hunt for some inspiration first... cleaning just doesn't HAPPEN on it's own.  It helps if you have a vision and a great soundtrack.
